Meatball Sliders

Ingredients

1 package homestyle meatballs (At least a 24 count)
1 package Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
2 tbsp Minced Garlic
1 stick unsalted butter
1 5 oz container shredded Parmesan Cheese
1 24 oz jar Marinara sauce

Directions

Preparation
  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Cook meatballs per the instructions.

While the meatballs are cooking:

  • Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
  • Melt the stick of butter and combine with Garlic.
Making

Once the meatballs have cooked:

  • Lightly butter the bottom bun on the outside only and place them in a pan. The bottom bun can become soggy if you over butter.

Make the sliders in layers:

  • Sprinkle a layer of Parmesan Cheese.
  • Spoon on the Marinara sauce.
  • Place down 2 meatballs per roll.
  • Spoon on Marinara sauce on top of the meatballs
  • Sprinkle another layer of Parmesan Cheese.
  • Butter the inside of the top bun and place it on top of the sliders. Butter the top of the bun before baking.
Baking
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Broil on Hi for 4 minutes to toast the top bun. Turn the pan halfway through.
