Directions

Preparation
  • Wash artichokes.
  • Cut off top (all thorns at the top).
  • Cut Stem.
  • Trim bottom leaves off stem and artichoke.
  • Pour 2 cups of water (or broth) into instant pot inner pot.
  • Place steaming rack in pot.
  • Place artichokes upside down onto steamer rack.
  • Secure lid in place.

Make sure valve is in sealing position

Cooking
  • Pressure cook for 20 minutes on high.
  • Natural release for approx 10 minutes.
  • Quick release.
