Lucky Charms Marshmallow Treats

Ingredients

1 family sized box of Lucky Charms cereal
2 (12 oz) gabs of Jet-Puffed regular marshmallows
8 Tbsp salted butter

Directions

Preparation
  • Grease two 9x13-inch pans.
Making
  • In a large stock pot melt 8 Tbsp of butter over low heat.
  • Add both 12 oz bags of marshmallows. Stir constantly over low heat until completely melted and smooth.
  • Turn off the heat. Add 1 family size box of Lucky Charms and stir until evenly coated.
  • Pour the mixture into your prepared pans. Use a greased spatula, wax paper, or lightly buttered hands to gently press it into an even layer. Don’t press too firly - you want them to stay soft and chewy.
  • Let cool for about 30-45 minutes, then cut into squares.
Optional Add-ins
  • Press some extra dry marshmallow “charms” on top while still warm for extra color.
  • Drizzle with melted while chocolate or colored candy melts for decoration.
